If not, then I think you’ll want to keep reading and maybe by the end of it you just might have a different answer!

Being a stay at home mom, I cook, I clean, I do laundry and I iron all our clothing, and take care of my husband and son. My day usually starts when my husband wakes up to go to work, which is between 6:30/7:30 AM, depending on the day of the week. My day ends around midnight, and most of the time, past midnight. I usually stay up to get things done and prepare what I can for the next day so I could spend quality time with my husband and son.

I never thought I could fit anything else into my schedule because I felt like I had no time for anything else. I have heard this same excuse from so many other people. A lot of people say they “DON’T HAVE TIME’. I hear this from people who have children, people that don’t have children, people that are working all the time, and others that are in school 24/7, even people that are home DOING NOTHING!

Then I started to realize that it’s not really about time, but how you prioritize your tasks for the day and for life in general. I understand that we don’t have many hours in the day to get everything done, but we DON’T NEED TO GET THEM DONE ON THE SAME DAY. I feel like we give ourselves this excuse so we don’t take on more tasks. Personally speaking, if I feel like I don’t have time to do anything else in a day, what will happen if I have another child? My work load will double, probably quadruple! But I know that if I was to have a second child, I will adjust my life and make it work. AHA!

AND THAT’S THE SECRET RIGHT HERE. IF YOU WANT IT TO WORK, YOU WILL MAKE IT WORK!

HOWEVER, sometimes life happens and we get busy with more important things, and that is OK! The important thing is getting back into it when you’ve sorted everything else.

I didn’t think I could make time to exercise but I am. My husband and I exercise almost daily. For us, exercising at night works and we make it happen. I feel so much better about myself and I feel more energetic. With the right mindset and a little tweaking of your day, you TOO can fit things into your life. Trust me when I say, if you include exercise and follow a healthy lifestyle, I guarantee you will feel the difference, both physically and emotionally. And this difference will affect everyone around you-in a good way!

So this is my thought process, see if I am making sense:

If life forces us to take on extra tasks and we can adjust them into our life and move on, THEN WHY CAN’T WE INCLUDE TASKS THAT BENEFIT US INTO OUR LIFE AND ADJUST ACCORDINGLY?

I think it’s because we THINK we will not have time. Sometimes, we need to stop thinking and just DO SOMETHING to see if it will work or not. It’s that simple.

So for the people who tell me they don’t have time – you will make time if you truly want to make a difference in your life.
